Fifty years of Tibetan democracy

Guests from all over the world will arrive to the event hosted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the fiftieth anniversary of the Tibetan democracy. The jubilee ceremony will take place in the Sera Jay monastery demolished by the Chinese in Tibet and rebuilt in India.

All the citizens of Europe deserve the same appreciation and treatment

DAHR’s MEP Csaba Sógor (drew attention to) reminded about the rights and living conditions of national minorities in the West-Balkans in his remarks during one-minute speeches on the opening day of the plenary sitting of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, on July 5. In his opinion some third countries ensure more freedom for the language use of these communities that the member states.

MEP’s advice in the EU camp

MEPs Csaba Sógor, Gyula Winkler and Sebastian Bodu’s presentation entitled Your Choice: public life or economic sector in the EU opened Saturday’s round of discussions of the EU camp. MEP Sogor calls for a stronger presence of the appointed EU Foreign Affairs Official

One of the main subjects of the plenary sitting of the European Parliament in June was the overview of the EU’s foreign relations. The evaluation of the situation in Gaza, the Korean peninsula and Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as the relation between the EU and Russia was made through the MEP’s debate and vote the next day. Baroness Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy took part in the debates.
