The exhibition of Csaba Sógor at Covasna

After being showcased in the European Parliament in Brussels, the exhibition on Hungarian explorers entitled Encounters was also showed in the Transylvanian town of Covasna. The multilingual exhibition was opened by RMDSZ MEP Csaba Sógor, mayor János Thiesz and Calvinist dean Zoltán Balogh on May 13th in the Community Center of Covasna.

Csaba Sógor in Lutita: Decisions in Brussels should be taken together with us

“Lutița is the village, where our Szekler ancestors decided about their own future as an autonomous community. We can keep the memory of this place alive by not giving up our aspirations” – stated MEP Csaba Sógor during his electoral visit to the region of Odorhei, one stop of which was Lutița, the village in which in 1848 the Szekler national convention decided to revolt against Austrian troops.

Thousand-year-old motifs in the Fészek Tájház regional house

On Saturday, 12 April the he Fészek Tájház regional house from Siculeni hosted an exhibition presenting the decorative art of Csangos from the Ghimeș area and of the Szeklers from Bukovina. The exhibition also included a collection of Easter eggs, the painting technique of which could be learnt by visitors, too.
