The citizens of Gheorgheni encouraged by Csaba Sógor to be actively involved in the matters of their community
Saturday, 22nd of June, DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor talked about the European Citizens’ Initiative, the European cohesion policy, and Europe’s economic and social challenges at Gheorgheni. Institutional and church leaders, teachers, entrepreneurs and NGO representatives were present at the event held at the Pro Art Gallery, hosted by the territorial organisation of the DAHR.

Graduation at the Sapientia University of Cluj-Napoca
The graduation ceremony of the Sapientia University of Cluj-Napoca was held on Saturday, 8th of June, at the reformed church from the M. Kogãlnicealnu street in Cluj-Napoca. DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor was present at the event rewarding the best student of the promotion with a study trip to Brussels.

Csaba Sógor discussed EU issues with mayors in Mures County
DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor met with mayors and local administration employees from Mureș County to discuss current European Union issues and EU funding opportunities. The meeting series hosted by the local territorial organisation of the DAHR took place on the 7th and 8th of June on three locations: Sângeorgiu de Pãdure, Târgu Mureș and Târnãveni.

On Thursday, May 30th DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor was the guest speaker at the series of conferences organised by the Braşov territorial organisation of the DAHR and the Evangelical Lutheran Church. The MEP gave a speech on current European Union issues.

On the mountain area meadows at Valea Boroş
The Pogány-havas Micro-regional Association organized an international conference on the subject of the economic, social and natural significance of the mountain area meadows from Valea Borşa. This was part of the association’s meadow protection project, which has the goal of raising awareness on the importance of this natural resource among meadow owners and decision makers.

Csaba Sógor: by building the Transylvanian Carpathian Society we are building Transylvania
Remembering the beginnings of the organisation founded in 1891, the Transylvanian Carpathian Society (Erdélyi Kárpát Egyesület - EKE) celebrated the fifth EKE days between the 10th and the 12th of May. The celebrations were held in the EKE building and so-caled “fortress” from Moldovenești, Cluj County.

Community cooperation needed for the rebirth of Şiclod
The tradition of fruit cultivation and the rebirth of the local orchards were the central topics of the second Together for Şiclod! professional meeting organized by DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor, the Siklód Association and the local administration of Atid.

EU Knowledge Contest of Young Hungarians
High school students had the chance to prove their knowledge of European Union related subjects at the finals of the Our Europe competition organized on the 6th of April at Székesfehérvár. The winners were rewarded with study trips to Brussels and Strasbourg.

Csaba Sógor at Sibiu: economic balance is guaranteed by small and medium size enterprises
DAHR MEP Csaba Sógor held a presentation entitled The situation of the labor force in the European Union during the economic crisis on Friday, 22nd of March 2013 at the headquarters of the Democratic German Forum of Sibiu. The event was organized by the Sibiu county territorial organization of the DAHR and the Hungarian Civic Cultural Association.
