The EP committee votes on the common provisions regulation of the European Structural and Investment Funds for the 2021-2027 budget cycle has ended with a number of positive results for Romania. According to Csaba Sógor, the most important outcome is that the EU funding for Member States has increased and the committee has decided on more favourable conditions for terms of use.

More and more people think in Europe, that further steps need to be taken to protect minorities at European level

MEP Csaba Sógor reports in an international publication about the legal situation and violations of the Hungarian minority in Romania. “Following the 2007 EU accession, we had high hopes, that as a member of the European Union, Romania would not afford to fail to comply with the promises made before accession in the protection of minorities. However, it seems that this is the case, so once again it is the EU’s turn to change the attitude of the Member States towards minorities”- stressed the RMDSZ MEP.

Csaba Sógor: European Labour Authority protects the interest of those who work abroad

The European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs voted on the establishment of a European Labour Authority. The plenary adopted the report on Tuesday. The European Social Fund should respond more effectively to labour market and social challenges

Csaba Sogor: We called for 50 million euros to treat the damage caused by swine fever
