We need more trust between consumers, producers and the European Union
Trust, quality, security of the source, community-thinking and exemplariness are all important values to have when operating regional and local production or sale - said MEP Csaba Sógor on the Go local! conference organized by the Committee of the Regions. The event took place on 11 October in Brussels on the Week of European Cities and Regions.
In his speech Csaba Sógor underlined the world level top quality soil in Szeklerland, not to mention the mountain meadows which lately enjoy strong interest from the west of Europe. We need to trust our local producers and products more. According to opinions in the West, Transylvania’s natural conditions are preconditions for a great future. We also need trust between consumers and producers, local governments, member states and the European Union. stated Sógor.
